If you are a Web Mail User If you are accessing your email via our web mail system in a browser, please access the portal, log in to My Local Connection by using your email address username and password as shown below:

Email Client User If you are accessing your email via an email client such as Outlook, Outlook Express, MAC Mail, Safari, Eudora, Yahoo!, Gmail, Netscape or other there will be no changes to your email or email settings. You are able to check your email from anywhere by going to My Local Connection and accessing it from there. You may also pay your bill online, check local and national news, and events and post to the classifieds.

	My Local Connection at http://portal.gpcom.com		Log in to the Portal using your Great Plains Communications email username and password.
	Access Your Email by clicking on 'Check Your Webmail'.		You're in! Your web mail interface is the same as always, allowing you to administrate your SPAM filter, forwarding or vacation messages.

Make the portal your homepage - this is how:

• Click on the desired link above
   
• Once on the web site, click on the Tools option in the top toolbar and select Internet Options.
   
• If not already selected, click the General tab of the dialog box.
   
• In the home page section of the dialog box, type the link for your community site in the Address box and click Ok.
   
• Now your community web portal is set as your home page!
